You might have read about me on my About page, but in case you didn't a brief recap.

I first discovered IMDB somewhere around 2005. A coworker introduced me to it. We were discussing some movie or show and he couldn't remember the name of an actor in it. "Let's check IMDB", he said. I thought, "Neat, a place where you can look up actors and directors resumes. Cool!" Then I realized you could talk to people....from around the world...about movies?! And TV?! I was a regular on their message boards until they shut down 2017.
I couldn't believe there were thousands of people like me who enjoyed discussing plots, storylines, characters, and theories as much as I do. I love immersing myself in a movie or TV show. Movies and TV take me to places I will never go, but they're only an hour and a half to two hours in most cases. Sometimes you come away with questions and theories or simply want to talk about what you just saw. It's fun, addicting, and even a little therapeutic. I spent countless hours on that site discussing properties such as LOST, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, and Terminator.
IMDB closed and I have found other places to talk about my favorite stuff. It's not the same, but it's what's available. Hell, IMDB wasn't the same towards the end. Internet discussions have turned into shouting matches or mediums for "trolls" to do their troll thing. But still, if I can find a good conversation with fellow passionate fans, I am game - and by all means feel free to comment on my blog, Facebook, or Twitter posts.
I am hoping for this site to serve as a replacement for my old one and further development of this hobby and creative outlet. More to come.
